IN PICTURES: Palestinian Muslims at Prayer in Mosque Set Ablaze in Bayt Fajar in Occupied West Bank

Palestinian Muslims pray at a mosque in Bayt (Beit) Fajjar near the city of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank. The mosque was set on fire by arsonists, suspected to be radical Israeli Jewish settlers opposed to ongoing talks between the Israeli government and the Fatah-controlled Palestinian National Authority. The arson attack has been condemned by Israeli prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Israeli defense minister Ehud Barak, and settler rabbis.

A few days ago, rabbis from nearby settlements brought a gift of Qur'ans to replace some damaged in the fire.
