Islamic Emirate of the Caucasus Names Amir Rasul as the New Commander in Dagestan


The Islamic Emirate of the Caucasus (IEC) has named a new senior commander (amir) for the region of Dagestan, one of several areas in the Russian-controlled Caucasus where there is an ongoing insurgency against Russian rule. In a statement on the Turkish language web site of a media center connected to the IEC, KavKaz, from another IEC leader, Amir Abu Anas, the new amir of Dagestan was named as Amir Rasul. Dagestan's previous amir, al-Bara (Umalat Magomedov) was "martyred" with three other IEC members on December 31, 2009. Amir Rasul is also preceded as amir of the region by Mu'adh (deceased), 'Abd al-Mazhid (deceased), Rabbani Khalilov (deceased), and Rasul Makasharipov (deceased).

Şehid Komutan Al-Bara nın yerine Komutan Rasul atandı

Çeçenistan doğu cephesi ve Dağıstan bölgesi askeri emiri komutan Muhanned yapmış olduğu açıklama ile; Dağıstan bölgesi Komutanlığına şehid komutan Al-Bara nın yerine askeri şura toplanana ve yeni bir karar alana kadar Komutan Rasul’ün atandığını ifade ettiler.

Hatırlayacağınız üzere Dağıstan cephe emiri komutan Al-Bara geçtiğimiz kış ayları içerisinde şehadet şerbetini içmişti.
