Inaugural Issue of a New Urdu Jihadi-Takfiri Internet Magazine, As-Haab-e Kahaf, Released

The inaugural issue of a new jihadi-takfiri Internet magazine, As-Haab-e Kahaf, was announced and released on February 17. It is produced by a jihadi-takfiri media outlet called Idara As-Haab-e Kahaf, and it joins other Urdu-language jihadi-takfiri Internet magazines such as Nawa-i Afghan Jihad, Hittin, and Al-Furqan. Links to previous posts on these publications can be found at the end of this post.

Qandeel Siddique, a research assistant at the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI) and contributor to the excellent blog Jihadica, edited by Dr. Thomas Hegghammer (currently of Princeton University), has a new post about an interesting article by 'Azzam Tariq ('Azam Tariq), the chief spokesman for Tehrik-i Taliban Pakistan which was in the January-February 2010 issue of Nawa-i Afghan Jihad. The post is informative and well-worth a read. She was kind enough to link to my brief "Twitter Specials" blog post with the PDF.

I have blogged previously about several Urdu-language jihadi-takfiri Internet magazines, including:

Nawa-i Afghan Jihad

I have also blogged previously about other Urdu-language written releases from jihadi-takfiri sources, including a lengthy monograph on the United States-based mercenary and military contractor firm Blackwater/Xe.
