Senior AQAP military commander "Abu Hurayrah al-San'ani," Qasim al-Raymi, who was reportedly killed in a Yemeni military strike last week.

Al-Qa'ida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) issued a statement today denying Yemeni government claims about the organization's alleged losses in recent government military strikes. The statement points out that the Yemeni government has in the past claimed "great successes" only to have its claims refuted later on. Fighting against the "Crusaders" and apostates is also obligatory on all Muslims, says the statement.
